Personal AI crew for Mac
Agents are boring. Hire a Henchman.
A crew of AI helpers with names, faces and personalities, living on your Mac. They remember you, look things up, keep your calendar and inbox in order, and answer when you text them from your phone. The thinking happens on your Mac.

Meet the crew
Not one assistant. A whole crew.
Pick a face, give it a name and a job, and choose how it talks. There are 51 starter jobs and 24 personalities, all editable. Talk to your henchmen one at a time, or put a few in a group thread and let them sort it out.

Suited crowbar
Runs the front office: your inbox, your calendar, who you owe a reply.

Janitor
Tidies the downloads folder and quietly renames everything properly.

Survivalist
Watches the forecast and tells you whether to bother with a coat.

Baller
Looks up the scores, the stats and who was right about them.

Watchman
Keeps an eye on the prices and the news you care about.

Good pint
Finds the pub, the table for six and the way there.

Mobster
Drafts the email you have been avoiding, firmly but politely.

Street tough
Shops around, compares the options and picks one.

Lucky Lenny
Happy to talk it through with you, out loud.

Tagger
Writes the first draft, the caption and the birthday toast.
Every face can take any job. How hiring works
Memory
They remember you.
Tell one henchman you don't eat meat and the whole crew knows. Your henchmen keep their own notes, share a file on you, and save the tricks that work as skills for next time. You can read every word of it, change it, or roll it back.

Answers from the web
Looks it up instead of making it up.
Ask about the world and your henchman searches the web, reads the pages and answers with links so you can check. No search account needed. For sites that need clicking around, it can use a browser inside the app, and you can take over whenever you like.
Web answers and cards
Cards
Some answers are better seen.
Forecasts, places and prices show up as tidy cards in the conversation instead of a wall of text.
- Weather now
- 3, 5 or 7 day forecasts
- Past weather
- Places on a map
- Stock, fund and crypto charts
- Charts of any numbers
- Product picks
- Lists and tables

Work on your Mac
Inbox, calendar and files, handled.
Your henchmen can read and draft Gmail, keep your Mac's Calendar and Reminders (and Google Calendar) in order, and sort, rename and write files in the folders you hand over. Use other services? Connect extra tools and the crew can use those too.
Email, calendar and files
Text from your phone
Out and about? Send a text.
Message your crew from Telegram, Discord or Slack through a bot you set up. Switch henchmen with a command, change your mind mid-task, and answer requests with a tap. Your Mac needs to be awake with Henchman running, and the big decisions still wait for you there.
Texting your crewRoutines
Jobs that happen on a schedule.
A morning brief at half seven. A look at the prices every Friday. A sweep of overdue reminders every couple of hours. Routines run on your Mac at the times you choose, and Henchman can sit in the menu bar and start at login so the crew keeps working with the window closed.
How routines work
Voice
Talk instead of typing.
Hold a key to dictate, or press the phone button and have a proper back-and-forth with a henchman. Interrupt it mid-sentence and it stops to listen. Listening and speaking happen on your Mac, with voice models you add.
Voice and calls
You stay in charge
You decide how much each henchman can do.
New henchmen start with full access and get on with it. Put any of them on a shorter leash, from asking about everything to handling the small stuff alone. Every request shows the real thing, like the email as it will be sent. Pause the whole crew with one switch, and see a record of everything they changed.
How permissions work
Privacy
The thinking stays on your Mac.
Your henchmen think with AI models on your own Mac, not on an AI company's servers. No account, nothing to sign up for. They do go online for the jobs that live there, and Henchman is plain about which ones.
Stays on your Mac
- Your conversations and the thinking behind every reply
- Everything your henchmen remember about you
- Your files and your voice
- Passwords and keys, in an encrypted vault protected by your Mac
Goes online when you ask
- Web searches and the pages your henchmen read
- Weather, maps, prices and a rough location (you can turn that off)
- Google, chat apps and extra tools you connect
- Usage sharing, only if you turn it on
An honest note
Bring your own models.
Henchman doesn't come with an AI model, and it doesn't download one for you yet. Before your crew can think, you add an open AI model to your Mac, and voice needs a few more. It's a bit of setup, and it's the reason nothing you say goes to an AI company.
Models that fit on a Mac are smaller than the biggest cloud ones, so they won't win every argument. More memory in your Mac means a smarter crew.
